Shelter / Challenge for Shelter Trek
Cambodia Challenge for Shelter
In October 2025, a group of adventurous Royal LePage® Shelter Foundation™ champions from across Canada will travel to Cambodia to trek in support of women and children seeking safety, hope and healing.
This adventure follows in the footsteps of our immensely successful treks in Ecuador, the Purcell Mountains, the Sahara Desert, Iceland, and Machu Picchu. Participants in these treks have raised over $4.6 million in support of their local women’s shelters and intimate partner violence prevention.
Now it’s your turn! Raise a minimum of $6,000 and cover your trek and travel costs and you’ll be treated to an experience of a lifetime!
During this adventure, you will:
trek 6-9 hours per day for 5 days in hot and humid conditions.
travel through rice paddies and small villages; pass temples, pagodas, and ruins; and venture into the thick jungle.
climb sacred Mount Kulen before arriving at the picturesque temples of Angkor Wat.
raise vital funds for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation
make life-long friends with Royal LePage agents from across Canada
This spectacular trek won’t be easy. Days will be long, hot, and humid and jet lag will be intense. You’ll also be without the comforts of home, sleeping in small tents, using rustic bathroom facilities and unplugging completely from cell service and technology. But every step you take will help women and children in your community find safety and move forward after violence and abuse. Some hiking experience is recommended for this adventure and fitness training in advance is a must.
